Pokemon 30th Celebration at Dollar General
Yes, Dollar General is getting Pokemon 30th Celebration products, the set built for Pokemon’s 30th anniversary. A Dollar General store arrival sheet we’ve seen lists four shipments from early October through December. Poster Collections, Elite Trainer Boxes and ex Boxes come first, then the Celebration ex Tin and Knock Out Collection in December. That’s about 1.87 million units across the chain.
Stores won’t all get product on the same day. Each shipment goes to Dollar General’s distribution centers first, and stores get their share once it lands there. One store can have Poster Collections on the shelf while the one across town is still waiting.
The quickest way to know is to check. The Restockd app shows store-reported Dollar General stock for 30th Anniversary products by ZIP code.
Dollar General hasn’t announced this schedule, and dates, prices and quantities can change. Store-reported stock doesn’t guarantee a box is on the shelf, so call the store before you drive out.

The December Knock Out shipment is the biggest line on the sheet. It’s listed for a sidewing, the narrow display that hangs on the end of an aisle, so look there as well as the card rack.
Other retailers sell the ex Box in Sylveon ex and Greninja ex versions. The sheet doesn’t say which ones Dollar General gets.
Some stores got 30th product early. In September our checker turned up Knock Out Collections and Elite Trainer Boxes at Dollar General stores in New York, Arizona and South Carolina.

When Does Dollar General Restock Pokemon Cards?
There’s no restock day for the whole chain. Most stores get one truck a week from their distribution center, and the day depends on the store. If a store had cards last Tuesday, check it again next Tuesday.
The 30th Anniversary dates above are when shipments reach the distribution centers, not when your store puts them out. Expect your store to lag a few days behind each wave.
Tips for Finding 30th Anniversary Products at Dollar General
- Check the app before you leave. Store counts change during the day.
- Look past the card rack. Check endcaps, sidewings and the registers too.
- Ask whether this week’s truck has been unloaded yet.
- Try more than one store. Each store gets a small share, so the one ten minutes away can have stock when yours doesn’t.
