This privacy policy applies to all information collected through our website and/or any related services, sales, marketing or events (we refer to them collectively in this privacy policy as the "Services").

Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering at the Services, expressing an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when participating in activities on the Services or otherwise contacting us.

The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect can include the following: Name, Email Address, Authentication Data.

Spotted: Community Sightings

Spotted lets members share in-store sightings with other members nearby. It is optional. Using it collects a little more than the rest of the app, so here is exactly what that is.

What we collect

• Your precise device location at the moment you post or confirm a sighting. We use it only to check that you are near the store. It is never shown to other members.
• An approximate home area, as a ZIP code you choose, so we can show sightings near you. You can change it at any time.
• Photos you attach to a sighting.
• The text of your sightings and your comments.
• A display name derived from your account: your name, your username, or the first part of your email address, in that order.

How long we keep it

Precise coordinates are removed within 30 days of the sighting. Photos, sighting text, and comments stay while the sighting is live or under review.

Who can see it

Your sightings, your comments, and your display name are visible to other members. Photos are reviewed before other members can see them and are never served from public URLs. Your precise location and your ZIP code are not shown to anyone.

Moderation

Members can report sightings and comments and can block other members. Our team reviews reports and may remove content or restrict a member's access to Spotted. The rules are set out in the Community Guidelines in our Terms of Service.

Deletion

Deleting your Restockd account removes your Spotted profile, sighting text, comments, coordinates, and photos. Credit records are kept without any link to your identity.

Giveaways

From time to time we run prize giveaways in the app. Entering is optional. Each giveaway has its own official rules in the app, and this section covers the data involved.

What we collect

• Your entry: which giveaway you entered, when, and how many bonus entries you have earned.
• An invite code linked to your account, which goes in the invite links you share.
• When someone opens an invite link, a one-way hash of their IP address and of a random ID stored in a cookie in their browser, so each visitor counts once. We never store the IP address or the ID itself. The cookie lasts up to 400 days and is only sent back to our giveaway service.
• If you win, your account email address, which we use to contact you, and the details you send us in reply: confirmation of your age and that you live in the US, and a shipping address. We use these only to check your eligibility and send the prize.

Who can see it

Other members see how many people entered a giveaway, but not who. Winners are shown in the app with a masked email address, such as "tcg***@gmail.com", for 30 days after the giveaway ends. Anyone you share your invite link with can see your invite code.

Deletion

Deleting your Restockd account removes your entries, your invite code, and the invite visits credited to you. If you won a giveaway, the masked email shown as its winner is kept without any link to your account.

How We Use Your Information

We use personal information collected via our Services for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations.

• To facilitate account creation and logon process.
• To send administrative information to you.
• To protect our Services.
• To respond to user inquiries/offer support to users.
• To send you marketing and promotional communications.

We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations.
