
Pokemon TCG 30th Celebration Set Officially Revealed for September 16th

Pokemon TCG: 30th Celebration has been revealed for a September 16, 2026 release. The anniversary expansion is built around a simultaneous worldwide launch, all-foil booster packs, one of 30 Pikachu cards in every pack, Futuristic Rare Mewtwo and Mew cards, and classic reprints such as Base Set Charizard and Pikachu & Zekrom-GX.
Release information
- Release date: September 16, 2026.
- Launch plan: simultaneous worldwide release in participating markets.
- This is the first Pokemon TCG expansion with a simultaneous global release.
- Booster packs include 5 foil cards, 1 foil Basic Energy, and 1 Pokemon TCG Live code card. Cards vary by pack and packs may vary by product.
- Every booster pack includes one of 30 Pikachu cards with unique illustrations.
- Preorder timing has not been announced yet.

Set details
- Every card in the booster packs is foil, including Basic Energy.
- Futuristic Rare cards debut in this expansion, with Mewtwo and Mew shown as the first cards in the new rarity.
- Revealed Pokemon include Greninja ex, Sylveon ex, Espeon, Umbreon, Lapras, Drifloon, Zorua, and Lycanroc.
- Illustration Rares shown so far include Lapras, Drifloon, Zorua, and Lycanroc.
- Classic reprints include Charizard from Base Set and Pikachu & Zekrom-GX from Sun & Moon Team Up.
- The classic reprints are not legal in Standard format, but can be used in formats that allow the original prints.
